Janet and I are pleased to announce that
Emily Elizabeth Benson
was born into the world at
11:28 PM on July 14th, 1999.
She weighs 8 lbs. 5.5 oz., and is 20 inches long, with
blue eyes
and a full head of dark brown hair.
She is perfect, and so far has not been fussy, and she
and Janet are
resting together quietly at Auburn Faith.
Emily’s and Janet’s papas were both present at the occasion,
and are each unspeakably proud of how both of them
came through
in the clinch.
