{"id":28,"date":"2007-04-13T05:55:00","date_gmt":"2007-04-13T05:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/blog\/2007\/04\/13\/get-a-blue-clue\/"},"modified":"2007-04-13T05:55:00","modified_gmt":"2007-04-13T05:55:00","slug":"get-a-blue-clue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/blog\/2007\/04\/13\/get-a-blue-clue\/","title":{"rendered":"Get a Blue Clue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/weblog\/koolaidguy.jpg\" align=\"left\" alt=\"Kool out, Gel-man\" hspace=\"10\" \/>I just had to blog when I heard these words come out of my mouth awhile ago: <b fontcolor=\"336699\"><em>&#8220;Damn it, I left my frozen blue Jello in the microwave.&#8221;<\/em><\/b><\/p>\n<p>See, they&#8217;re really Kool-Aid&#038;#153 brand &#8220;gel snacks,&#8221; and as Emily has pointed out, they say right on the label, clear as day, &#8220;DO NOT FREEZE.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But, scofflaw that I am, I keep them in the freezer, and I nuke them for 10 &#038;#151 11 seconds (12 would just ruin it), and I eat them with great relish. <br \/><b>(Note: Great relish is nothing whatsoever like pickle relish.)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I have this picture of the Kool-Aid guy because it&#8217;s impossible to find a picture of these blue jello snacks on the internet, so I will perforce have to take it upon myself to snap one at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, I did come to know that most &#8220;blue kool-aid&#8221; images refer to the art of dying wool <a href=\"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/weblog\/bluekoolaid.jpg\" alt=\"Not kool-aid.\">yarn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is also an adult drink made with blue Kool-Aid called the &#8220;Steve&#8221;, after Steve, the orginal host of Blues Clues&#038;#153.
