{"id":394,"date":"2003-08-12T01:26:00","date_gmt":"2003-08-12T01:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/blog\/2003\/08\/12\/"},"modified":"2003-08-12T01:26:00","modified_gmt":"2003-08-12T01:26:00","slug":"394","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chrisandjanet.net\/blog\/2003\/08\/12\/394\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, gosh, I&#8217;m starting to feel kinda bad for the people who are wandering here by accident &#8211; this blog is now the 1st listing for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?sourceid=navclient&amp;q=gooblek\">Google search on &#8216;gooblek&#8217;<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/asparaguspee.blogspot.com\/hits.jpg\" align=\"left\" vspace=\"5\" hspace=\"10\" \/> and I don&#8217;t have any information here. I&#8217;m considering adding a &#8216;What is Gooblek?&#8217; link over on the sidebar so it&#8217;s not a complete waste.<\/p>\n<p>On a related note, I recently participated in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=carnival+of+the+vanities\">Carnival of the Vanities<\/a> #46, hosted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acrosstheatlantic.com\/\">Across the Atlantic<\/a>, and, while it didn&#8217;t make my site an overnight sensation, there was a very discernable peak in my &#8216;hits per day&#8217; (see graph).<\/p>\n<p>I am sorry to say that Gallagher did throw his hat in the ring, but I&#8217;ve checked out his <a href=\"http:\/\/gallaghersmash.com\/index2.htm\">site<\/a>, and while he <i>is<\/i> amusing, I don&#8217;t think he&#8217;s serious enough to be a contender.
